You may have a lot of questions, here are answers to some of the questions we are frequently asked. If your question is not addressed here, please give us a call.
What types of services are available?
Sometimes life gets heavy. Counseling and psychological assessment services are here for a wide range of mental health concerns, offered in a space where you can feel safe, heard, and understood
What can therapy help with?
More than you might think. People come to therapy carrying all kinds of burdens — depression, anxiety, grief, trauma, anger, and relationship struggles that feel impossible to untangle. Some are working through experiences that just won't let go. Others aren't sure what's wrong, only that something is.
Whatever you're carrying, it's worth talking about.
Who do you provide services to?
We provide therapy services to individuals ages 14 and older. We can offer referral resources in the community for younger clients.
Do you accept insurance?
Yes, see our Insurance Page for more information.
We are able to provide a Superbill if we are out-of-network with your insurer and you wish to submit claims to your insurer directly. Please ask us for more information.
We are expanding our network participation. We will update this information as we contract with additional payers.
Do you have a patient portal?
Yes, our practice uses software that includes a patient portal where you can access documents, schedule and manage appointments, and securely communicate with your therapist.
Do you offer substance use services?
No, we do not currently offer substance use treatment services. We can provide referral resources in the community.
Do you offer a private pay rate if I do not have health insurance?
- Initial Assessment $220
- Therapy Session of 30 minutes $75
- Therapy Session of 45 minutes $105
- Therapy Session of 60 minutes $145
Will you work with my primary care provider?
Yes, your therapist will ask about your primary care provider and, with your permission, communicate with them at critical points in treatment to ensure you receive whole-person care.
Are services provided in person or via telehealth?
Both. Services are primarily provided in person, and telehealth services are also available. If you prefer telehealth, please let us know when you schedule.
Please note that you may need to attend some visits in person due to requirements by select insurance companies. Your therapist can provide additional details.
Are 24-hour crisis services available?
Yes, crisis services are available through the 988 Crisis Hotline or by calling 911 for Emergency services.
Can I pay for services with an HSA, credit card, or debit card?
Yes, please ask your provider for details or see the client portal.
Is there a fee for missed appointments and late cancellations?
Yes, there is a $25.00 fee for missed appointments and for sessions canceled with less than 24 hours’ notice.
Are school or work excuse notes available?
Yes, please let your therapist know if you need a note for work or school.
